EDDIE TRUNK Takes Viewers On Guided Tour Of Country's Biggest And Most Eclectic Music Festivals In AXS TV's 'Trunkfest'
October 28, 2017AXS TV, the premier destination for classic rock programming, has greenlit a new eight-episode music series, "Trunkfest With Eddie Trunk", premiering in 2018. Hosted by beloved music historian and TV and radio host Eddie Trunk, the program gives viewers the ultimate front row seat to some of the nation's biggest music festivals as Trunk travels across the country interviewing bands, visiting booths, sampling festival cuisine, and mingling with the dedicated music fans that help make these festivals so legendary.
Highlights include immersive trips to South Dakota's world-famous Sturgis Buffalo Chip music festival, featuring an interview with southern rock superstar George Thorogood; "The Festival To End All Festivals" Kaaboo in Del Mar, California, where Eddie samples a sizzling celebrity chef experience; the hard rock and heavy metal celebration Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, featuring an interview with shock rock icons Rob Zombie and John 5; and the eclectic Halloween weekend Voodoo festival in New Orleans, Louisiana, which will begin filming this weekend and boasts an exclusive interview with groundbreaking RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE guitarist Tom Morello. More featured festivals will be announced at a later date.
